Gloucester County Police Searching for Identity of Pedestrian Struck by Car

Gloucester County Police are seeking help to identify a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Glassboro. Police say the man was walking south along the 700 block of Delsea Drive when he was struck in front of the SmashBros eatery, just after 8 p.m. Officials said he had no identification, nor was carrying a cellphone with any contact information. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he remains hospitalized for his injuries.

Authorities said he is a Black man with close-shaved hair and a mustache and beard shaved closely to his jawline. At the time of the accident, he was wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black puffer coat, and had a diamond stud earring in his left ear, and a thick silver double-helix necklace.

Police are asking for help identifying the man in order to locate and contact his family. Anyone with information about the man’s identity, or any family members or known acquaintances, is asked to contact police at 856-881-1500.
